Before you choose, take a real sample outside. Look at the same color in sun and shade. A small check now can help you feel more sure about a big change.
Let the light change
A color can look bright in the sun and darker in shade. That does not mean the sample has changed. The light has.
Look at your sample in a sunny spot, then in shade. Check it again later in the day. If you love it in one spot but not the other, that is useful to know before you order.
Put it beside what will stay
Your new siding will share the view with your roof, trim, brick, and stone. Which of those will stay as they are?
Hold the sample beside the parts you can reach. Then step back and look at the house as a whole. Do you like how the colors work together?
Keep the choice yours
You do not have to pick the most popular color. Think about the look you want to come home to. Soft and quiet? A bit more bold?
If two colors are close, give each the same test. Compare them in the same spots and light. Keep the one you enjoy seeing with your home.
