FINALIST #1

NORMAN DICKERSON

Norman was nominated by a friend.  Here is what they had to say about him.
Norman served in the Marines and is such a hard working man, doing concrete. He supports his family of 5 and never once complains - he puts his family before himself and rarely does anything for himself. He just purchased his first home at the end of July, at the age of 34, but sadly, the house is 20 years old and now needs a new roof, as some things were missed before purchasing. Unfortunately, it is not in the budget to purchase a roof anytime soon, so this would be amazing for him!

FINALIST #2

JOE CARLIN

Joe was nominated by a friend.  Here is what they had to say about him.

This is a family who gives and gives and blesses many. They have 5 children
Joe and Jodie are a blessing to anyone in need. They have given their old van to a family in their church. They help families and single mothers that are hardly able to make ends meet. They bring families in need food and buy Christmas gifts for their children. They helped a family where the mom went into labor early by collecting everything they needed for a premature baby. They just have big hearts. Joe just ventured out  and started a new business and as you know it takes time to build your business and make money. They're struggling to get where they need to be. They have 5 children and 2 that are on the Autism Spectrum.  Their roof is 25 yrs old and is leaking. Joe gave 25 yrs to the Navy and deployed for a year to Afghanistan. He his a disabled Vet due to his deployment. I'd love to see these two get a blessing for their family!

FINALIST #3

JACK JOYNER

John was nominated by a friend and neighbor.  Below is what they had to say about him.
Jack is a Vietnam vet.  He has health issues is living off less than $1000 per month and half goes to house payment.  He's a good neighbor served his country and deserves better than a leaking roof.
I'm just a Neighbor who would like to see a neighbor with a need get his need met.
Jack also sent in a statement:

My name is Jack Joyner and live in SE Roanoke City.
I am 67 years old. I have numerous health issues that
limits my abilities. I am a Viet Nam era Veteran and
served in the U.S.A.F. from 1971 to 1975 as a
mechanic. I moved into my house in 2007 and the
Deracho of 2012 left my roof seriously damaged and
in disrepair. I am now on a fixed income and cannot
afford the repairs needed.
Thank you for your support and your vote !
